Admissions
All applications made to LOHA are considered on an individual basis and be in good academic and behavior standing in their previous school. Admission will only be finalized after all relevant paperwork has been completed and received by the Admissions Office by the due date.
A new student applying for admission to LOHA must submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:
Complete Application Form.
Complete Medical Form.
Complete Pick Up Authorization for Pre - School to Grade 6.
Acknowledgement of the school Handbook.
Acknowledgement of LOHA Communication Policy.
3 recent passport-sized photographs.
Copy of the student’s passport and visa or ID.
Copy of the parent’s passport and visa or ID.
Copy of the vaccination bulletin.
Original academic end of year reports for the previous 2 to 3 years.
NIF copy of Individual/Organization responsible for payments.
Fees.
NOTE: Students coming from schools outside Angola should have all documents must be officially translated to English and Portuguese languages and must be stamped by the ministry of foreign affairs in the country of origin then by the embassy of Angola in the country of origin.
Families will be notified within a one week after testing if the student has met admissions standards, A one-time, non-refundable first installment is due within 15 days to reserve the student’s place for the following year.

To ensure the best results, education quality and the international school identity we at LOHA are required to follow the following policies for student’s enrollment:
Students are eligible to enroll at LOHA if we can meet their academic, cognitive, and special needs.
1. To ensure a well-balanced international school environment we take into consideration the student’s (not in a particular order):
Nationality
Relatives currently enrolled at LOHA
Gender
Special needs
Academic level
Class
2. Enrollment at LOHA is open all year long as long as places are available, and students meet the following rules:
Students transferring from other schools with the appropriate transcripts and Exeat certificate will be allowed to continue at LOHA at any time during the academic year.
Student coming during the academic year without a prior school transcript or Exeat cannot be enrolled after the second half of the 2nd trimester.
Students accepted will be billed the previous trimester fees. KG1, KG2 and KG3 are exempted of this rule but will be charged with the class material fees.
3. Students with learning difficulties:
Parents are required to disclose any type of disability, learning difficulty or behavior issues even when it is under control with medications.
Failure to do so may result in the dismissal of the student.
The school will not refund any fees already paid.
4. Student are assigned to their classrooms by the administration taking into consideration the criteria’s mentioned in article 1.
5. Student can enroll at LOHA if they are 3 years old by September.
